"But I wasn't laughing!"
Tonight, my wife an I were getting my daughter ready for bed, and we were all getting a bit frustrated with each other over the ordeal - my two-year-old especially so. She gave out a grunt of frustration and my wife and I began to laugh over it, which only exasperated my daughter's mood. Then, her words hit me -
"Why are you laughing at me?"
"We weren't laughing at you honey, we were laughing with you."
"But I wasn't laughing!"
Thoroughly put in place by my amazing daughter, I realized just how true her words were. Needless to say, I groveled at her feet for the next few hours begging for forgiveness.

Thats cute. It's hard to remeber that our kids are little humnas with all the feelings associated with it.
