Little Big Sister

We found out, not too long ago, that our daughter is soon to be a big sister! We are all very excited about the news, not least of all our daughter. She'll be part of the parenting team for sure, quick to help and probably even more quick to correct. Her questions continue - about everything - and now she has a whole new category to ask about.

Of course, we're excited too! The excitement is mixed a bit with, 'How are we going to manage two, when it seems like we're just getting a handle on managing one' or 'Will I be able to carry a newborn and hold her sister's hand across the parking lot'. We're silly to worry really - just like always, we'll manage. We're sure not complaining.

So, I'm working on my sympathy weight and my office just went from a room to a corner of a room, but I'm ever the happy and proud Daddy.
